127.8 … That was my weight this morning… even after a few weeks of pretty “loose” paleo eating. That’s been the number on the scale for at least a week. That’s 31 pounds less than I used to weigh. I’ve always heard people say reaching a goal on the scale isn’t going to matter. That even if you lose the weight, you aren’t going to feel fulfilled. Will reaching X lbs or X percent body fat really make you happier? In my case… yes!
I know I haven’t been blogging recently. Life happens, and as I’m not looking to make a career out of this, blogging took a back seat. Some pretty amazing things have happened (DENTAL SCHOOL INTERVIEWS) and some not-so-amazing things have happened (being cheated on for the first time) but I’m starting to feel like I’m truly getting the hang of this whole paleo “lifestyle.” I’m definitely not a paleo perfectionist, but I make a point to get my nutrition from real, whole foods while avoiding as much “crap” as I can (/choose.)
